About Love, Money, and Renal Failure

My thoughts as Mike and I take the roller coaster through the heaven of love, the hell of money, and the purgatory of renal failure.  If all goes according to plan, there will be  happy stuff, sad stuff, funny stuff, stupid stuff, controversial stuff, TMI stuff, and maybe even some downright offensive stuff.  Well, that’s my goal, anyway.

Just an fyi, though it sounds like you have your hands quite full already, there are several good books I’ve been reading about Caregiving (I am a 24/7 caregiver myself) that sound very much like your description for this blog and may be of some comfort. Of course, all of us will be here for you too. (((Amy & Mike)))

I’ll be the guinea pig for the first comment. ;)

I think you have a very good idea here. There are often many things one can say to people like us ~ your cheezyfrens, that you really don’t want family to hear or see. It’s certainly that way with me, even though my family is quite close.

However, I AM a bit alarmed at the sight of those “Share this” buttons up top there. Naturally, I’m not going to poke one to see if they work. I HOPE that you are the only one who can operate them.

Anyway, it’s often very good for you to get your problems (and NOT problems!!) down on paper. And sometimes, friends will actually come up with some comments that may be very helpful. ;) Or comforting.

That’s what I was thinking, Janet, but when I made it private, I had to invite specific email addresses, and I don’t know very many of the cheezpeeps addys. I tried to use the “post using this”email address on the group page, but it didn’t work :/ I will keep trying.

Tell me what you're thinking...I'm a big girl, I can take it.
